The Georgia Department of Community Supervision (DCS) plays a key role in this mission by equipping individuals under supervision with the tools necessary for a successful transition. At Covenant Community, we proudly support this effort by providing long-term recovery support, stable housing, and pathways to purposeful employment, helping individuals build a foundation for lasting change and successful reintegration into society.

During AmeriCorps Week, Covenant Community recognizes the incredible impact of national service. Across the country, AmeriCorps members continue to strengthen communities, support families, and create lasting change through service.

The impact Covenant Community makes isn't just on the men we serve – it also ripples out to the wider community.

Just ask Horace, who has been in recovery since 2022. Horace credits his transformation to Covenant Community, saying “Covenant Community [is] where I found hope, strength, and everything that I needed. Covenant really changed my life.”

Now, Horace has transformed from someone needing help to someone giving help in his role as a Residential Peer Specialist with Covenant Community. Says Horace, “Being a Man of Hope is something great for me. It feels good to be able to give back what was graciously given to me. I love the fact that I can just sit down and listen to one of the residents and help them and guide them through the struggles of the day.”
