We on the West Side of Atlanta, need to be vigilant of accelerated tree loss from new development. The westside currently has a very lush private-public tree canopy. This tree cover helps to manage our energy/heat impacts, our air quality, stormwater and provides mental, physical, and spiritual benefits for our neighborhoods.
