Meet the Team: Kristin Evans

Our Director of Administration, Kristin Evans, is the operational force working behind the scenes of every major event to ensure our entire facility runs like clockwork. From managing essential venue workflows to handling crucial contracts and compliance, her organizational expertise and steady leadership ensure our team has a rock-solid foundation to operate flawlessly. We caught up with her for a quick Q&A session.

Q. What advice would you give someone just starting their career in your field?
A. The best advice I've received is that the visitor experience starts as soon as they buy their ticket or pull into the parking lot. It's crucial to be well-organized, adaptable, and receptive to new ideas. There will unavoidably be challenges on event days, but thorough advanced planning and communication enable problems to be resolved quickly and effectively. Allows for a positive experience for customers, visitors, and employees alike.

Q. What is the biggest event you have ever helped pull off?
A. 2025 MLB All-Star Village with 59,000 patrons over 4 days & 2015 Shaky Boots Festival with 50,000 patrons over 2 days.

Q. What is a fun fact about you that may surprise people?
A. Throughout my career, I have played a key role in launching two professional teams in the Women’s Professional Soccer (WPS) league, running a prominent women’s league (USL). My experience also includes opening a stadium and have had the privilege to work with some incredible soccer organizations, including US Soccer, USL, MISL, and WPS, contributing to the growth of the sport at multiple levels.

Keeping our entire facility running like clockwork behind the scenes of every major event is our Director of Engineering, Brian Duncan. From managing complex electrical and HVAC systems to supervising rapid-response structural support, his technical expertise and dedicated leadership ensure our venue’s infrastructure operates flawlessly around the clock. Q. What advice would you give someone just starting their career in your field?
A. Always strive to give your best at work every day. Do not allow other people's attitude and laziness to affect your effort to give your all and be your best.

Q. What do you enjoy the most about your role at the venue?
A. Every event is different, and each one presents unique challenges; this ensures that the role is never boring.
