Realty ONE Group — a franchise brand with more than 20,000 real estate agents across the U.S. and globally — announced today that its Phoenix-area agents can decide whether they want to affiliate with or remain members of NAR.

Beginning January 1, 2025, agents in eight Phoenix locations will have the option to join a newly created subsidiary, Realty ONE Group AZ, allowing them to "disassociate" with NAR and sign up for Phoenix Realtors' MLS Choice program.

What is MLS Choice? In November, Phoenix Realtors announced a new, lower-cost membership program for brokers dubbed MLS Choice. If a brokerage opts in, its agents can access the MLS and legal forms — without joining a Realtor association.

Realty ONE gives agents the option to leave NAR The global brokerage has formed a Phoenix-based subsidiary, allowing area agents to discontinue association membership while retaining MLS access.
