I’m noticing a common theme in the Philippines where scarcity or a fear of losing something (or someone) is deeply ingrained in our culture.

We hoard and we control. We think we’re running out of time and money — all the time. It affects how we live and the people around us. We react uncharacteristically and illogically.

I want to think about this more and write about it later on the blog 💭

New York has been cool and is providing a lot of lessons. I feel like anything is possible in this city as long as you put your heart and soul into what you want to do. I hope to spend more time here v v soon.

Some days I’m severely overwhelmed to the point where I feel disconnected from myself. Today is one of those days. I don’t see it as misfortune but more of a sign, a redirection to where I need to be.
