In a field where representation in research and evaluation is still limited, Dr. Mitchell reminded us why spaces like matter.

At the Black Maternal Health Conference and Training Institute⢠( ), some of the most powerful movement-building happened away from the main stage, right inside our breakout rooms.
These werenāt just sessions, they were spaces of intimacy, vulnerability, and deep engagement. Notes were taken, hard questions were asked, lived experience were shared, and space was held for one another in ways that pushed the work forward.
From floor-seated reflections to full rooms of focused listening, this is what collective learning looks like in action.
⨠BMHC26 is on the horizon, and weāre building toward it already. Learn more about and what itās all about at blackmaternalhealthconference.com!
