An honor to speak to the Medical Association of Georgia (MAG) today to discuss about healthcare legislation. I have been a champion for tort reform since first elected to office and I will always be in the fight for medical malpractice reform.

Big news for Georgia’s independent workforce. HB 987, the “Voluntary Portable Benefit Plan Act”, has officially been signed into law by Governor Brian Kemp

This legislation helps create more flexibility and access to voluntary benefits for independent contractors while preserving their independent status.
