Frontline Policy, a powerful Georgia conservative lobbying group, is facing $17,500 in ethics fines after state investigators found it failed to register lobbyists and didn't disclose more than $380,000 in campaign contributions during the 2024 election cycle.
The Georgia State Ethics Commission called the penalties among the largest ever issued for lobbying violations. The group was also previously fined for violating lobbying laws.
Frontline's founder, Cole Muzio, called the violations "essentially a clerical error" and said the organization has corrected the issue and remains committed to following the law.

🏡 Good news! A major housing proposal from Sen. Raphael Warnock is now federal law.
The new measure prohibits large private equity firms from buying additional single-family homes, a move supporters say will help more families compete for homeownership instead of corporate investors.
The provision is part of a broader bipartisan housing package that also aims to increase housing supply, modernize appraisals, expand rural housing programs, and make housing more affordable.
In metro Atlanta, where more than 72,000 single-family rental homes are owned by large corporate investors, the law could have significant implications for the housing market.
Follow PGA for the latest on what this means for Georgia homeowners and homebuyers.
