Do you know how much federal withholding is coming out of each paycheck?

Are you prepared for tax season, or do you need assistance?

Do not wait until the end of the year after earning good money and expect a large refund if your withholding has not been set up properly all year.

And a friendly reminder for business owners and side hustlers: creating false business expenses or claiming deductions you cannot support is never worth the risk.

The IRS is using more technology, data matching, and analytics than ever before to identify returns with unusual deductions or expenses that do not align with income and industry standards.

Large write offs are not automatically a problem if they are legitimate and documented. The issue comes when deductions are exaggerated, unsupported, or completely made up.

If you are unsure what you can legally deduct or how to reduce your tax bill the right way, reach out to me. Tax planning will always beat tax problems.
