These are 1/24 scale baskets cut from 1/32" maple, a fairly labor intensive piece. In this batch of 8 (64 pieces), I had 11 pieces that needed to be recut, a 17% failure rate. A big reason for this is that the fan blows the feather light pieces around and they land where the laser hasn't cut yet. The purpose of the fan is to keep the wood from catching on fire! 🔥 After cutting, I sort the pieces by hand and bag them with instructions. I like to cut my kits all the way through into separate pieces so my customers aren’t left struggling to cut hard maple tabs.
