The new strain of h**p from Estonia has less than 0.03% THC, giving farmers an option to stay within Europe's limit of just 0.2%. The new variety, called Estica, was developed by the Estonian Organic Protein Foundation (EOPC) in cooperation with Dutch company Globe Seeds BV.

Uja reported that Estica was successfully tested and developed in the last four years. Estica can produce 1.4-1.6 tons of grain per hectare and very low THC levels in the seeds.
