✨We are one day shy of our one-year anniversary ✨
Here are 3 tips to new Bnb hosts:
# 1 never shy away from the hard work ✨ Although my systems are automated now, I am thankful for being the “turnover queen” for my BnBs starting out, because now I can better guide my cleaning team!
# 2 Go with your gut ✨That goes for potential cleaners, guest and business partnerships… not all money is good money 😉
# 3 Just get started ✨ I was booked for 65 days within 24hrs of going live on Airbnb! I didn’t have professional photos, and I started with one 32-inch TV🤣 I have made upgrades along the way and believe it or not, I had to close my calendar a few times to complete those upgrades because I’ve been ! So, just get started and do upgrades along the way!😎
All jokes aside, Airbnb provides great customer service to their host! But here’s the reality, things happen in this business, so as a host documentation is KEY 🔑
•when your cleaners are on-site make sure they are taking pictures of your rental prior to next check-in.
•Make sure you have quality exterior cameras in case you need to submit a claim.
•Lastly, don’t hesitate —if you need to file a claim do so immediately—if the guest will not pay for damages, replacements etc..file your claim ASAP!
