Why We Created the “Joy & Rest” Retreat 🖤✨

When Careshia and I envisioned the “Joy & Rest” Retreat, our hearts were set on one powerful intention: to inspire Black women to invest in themselves unapologetically. Too often, we pour endlessly into others, leaving little for ourselves. This retreat is our love letter to every Black woman who has ever felt the weight of always being “strong” and never being still.

We wanted to create a sacred space where you can release, restore, and remember that your rest is not a luxury—it’s a necessity. This day is about honoring yourself, embracing ease, and reclaiming your joy without guilt.
