4' aluminum fence with arched gate, installed right behind a retention wall in Atlanta, GA.
The Challenge:
This homeowner had a beautiful backyard with custom stone steps and a retention wall separating the upper and lower levels. They wanted a fence that would provide security and define the boundary without blocking the view or overwhelming the existing stonework. The tricky part? Installing behind a retention wall, making sure everything was aligned to perfection, and dealing with different heights.
The Solution:
We designed and installed a 4' tall ornamental aluminum fence system specifically engineered for this application. The gate posts are anchored directly to the brick/block flooring using heavy-duty mounting plates and concrete anchors, no digging required. The gate itself features a custom arched top that adds elegance while matching the curves of the property. We also fabricated a curved handrail that follows the stone steps perfectly, tying the entire installation together.
Why Ornamental Aluminum?
✅ Durability – Powder-coated finish won't rust, rot, or need repainting for decades
✅ Low Maintenance – No staining, no sealing, just occasional washing
✅ Security – Decorative spear tops provide real barrier protection
✅ Visual Appeal – Classic look that complements brick, stone, and upscale homes
✅ Lifetime Value – Lasts 30+ years with zero maintenance costs
✅ Doesn't Block Views – Open picket design maintains sightlines unlike solid privacy fencesThe
Result:
A secure, elegant boundary that enhances the property instead of hiding it. The custom arched gate makes a statement, the curved railing provides safety on the steps, and the homeowner gets decades of maintenance-free performance. This is what happens when you combine quality materials with custom fabrication and professional installation.
Built to last, designed to impress.

3 mistakes homeowners make before getting a fence installed 🚩
Most fence problems don’t happen during installation. They happen before the contractor even shows up.
1️⃣ Not checking HOA guidelines. Height limits, material restrictions, color requirements. Install the wrong fence and you’ll be forced to tear it down.
2️⃣ Not calling 811 for underground utilities. Hit a gas line, water main, or electrical cable and you’re looking at thousands in repairs and serious safety issues.
3️⃣ Choosing a contractor based on price alone. The lowest estimate = cheapest materials and installation shortcuts. Your fence will fail in years, not decades.
If you skip these steps, you’re setting yourself up for expensive problems later 🚨
📌 Save this before getting fence quotes.
Veteran-owned and community-focused, that’s how we approach every public project 🇺🇸
Right now, we’re installing four baseball backstops at a park here in Georgia, and the specs tell the story: 24’ and 32’ tall Schedule 40 steel posts, hundreds of pounds of concrete per foundation, and 9-gauge galvanized wire mesh.
This is infrastructure-grade work designed to handle decades of use, weather, and the kind of beating that comes with thousands of games played over the years.
When you build for the public, you’re building for your neighbors, your community, and the next generation of kids who’ll grow up playing ball at this park. We don’t take that lightly.
Public parks are where memories are made. We’re just making sure the infrastructure is there to support them for many, many years to come. ⚾️🇺🇸
