I’m delighted to announce that nominations are now open for the Principals Center's 2026 Lighting the Path Leadership Award 🏆! This prestigious honor recognizes visionary educational leaders who illuminate the way for future generations through transformative leadership, innovation, and an unwavering commitment to excellence in education.
Last year, we proudly recognized April Crawford, Ph.D., Deputy Superintendent (Student Support Services) of Clayton County Public Schools, as our 2025 award recipient. Dr. Crawford's dynamic leadership, dedication to equity, and passion for student success exemplify the spirit of this award, inspiring others to follow in her footsteps and continue lighting the path forward.

This milestone would not be possible without the transformational leadership of Superintendent Dr. Dan A. Sims, and the unwavering support of Dr. Katika Lovett and Dr. Tamara Candis.
