My baby made this fancy Yuzu lemon cream cake with candied kumquats for my birthday.

Today in things that make me happy: coming home from a long trip and walking the yard to discover new delights. We re-planted one of four beds with 🍅 🍆 🌶️ 🫑 which are all flowering. We have already harvested lots of basil and mint already. In the yard we inherited tons of blackberries, azaleas, hydrangeas, day lilies, irises and an amazing camelia that was hard hit by winter frost last year. I am doing my best for it and hope to see it’s full glory next Jan/Feb. We even have a peach 🍑 tree with one peach! Why only one???
