Well there’s one reason no other deer will mean so much to me, my dads burial services were today and I debated on even going out because I didn’t want to get hung up and be late but I went out anyways and said I was going to leave my stand at 9:00 and it got to be 9:00 on the dot and this guy stepped out and the first thing I said was “this has got to be my dad watching over me” needless to say he bedded down at 20 yards behind a log and I couldn’t get him to stand up to get a shot so he finally stood up and I took the shot, I didn’t feel the shot was good so I just left the woods to get to the services and went back after and he was laying dead 40 yards from where I shot him.
