We’re proud to join 194 health advocacy organizations urging Congress to fund health care — not attacks on immigrants and communities.
H.R. 1 cut over $1 trillion from Medicaid, Medicare, CHIP, and the ACA — while massively expanding ICE and CBP funding. The result: 1M+ people have already lost care, millions are paying ~$1,000 more in premiums, and 51,000+ preventable deaths are projected annually.
Fear of immigration enforcement is keeping people from prenatal visits, cancer screenings, and essential care. This is a public health crisis.
We’re calling on Congress to restore these cuts, protect health care access for all, and end policies that weaponize fear in our communities.
