Atlanta 48 Hour Film Project

OK...NOW it's one week until kickoff. (Out math and grasp of how calendars was off last Friday.

But seriously, why haven't you registered yet?

Documentarian Les Blank's Werner Herzog Eats His Shoe (1980) tells an inspiring story of creativity and hutzpah.

German auteur Werner Herzog challenged first time filmmaker Errol Morris to complete the film Gates of Heaven, saying he'd eat his shoe if he did it.

Morris delivered, and so do Werner.

Today, as we approach the second of 3 deadlines, I'm issuing a similar challenge to Atlanta 48HFP filmmakers: If we get to 44 teams by midnight tonight, June 11--the next day, at kickoff, on June 12, I'll do like Werner. I'll eat my shoe.
