Thank you to the District AME for the invitation to the Founder’s Day Convocation in Savannah, Georgia, hosted by Historic Saint Philip AME Church. The theme, “More Than a Walkout: Richard Allen, A Social Justice Leader,” created meaningful space for theological reflection and faithful conversation.
I was honored to present “Richard Allen and the Bible,” and to contribute to the ongoing work of engaging Scripture with rigor and clarity, especially at the intersection of race, interpretation, and Christian witness. Grateful for the relationships built and the conversations sparked. Looking forward to what’s next.
