MSM Pediatrics Residency Program

Upon her return from Perú, Dr. Leukeu states she’s grateful for the opportunity to have served as a volunteer pediatric physician on a medical mission with MG Foundation International in collaboration with The Rouse Foundation❤️
Their team traveled to the Huánuco and Tingo María regions to provide free pediatric care to underserved communities while also supporting local families through community outreach and the distribution of school supplies. We’re very proud of her strong work!

Senior spotlight, presenting ✨Dr. Amoré Jones, MD✨
• What’s next after residency? - Dr. Jones will join the MSM Pediatrics faculty where she will work primarily as a pediatric hospitalist.
• What will you miss the most about residency? - I will miss our weekly catch-up sessions after didactics. Who doesn’t love an enriching pediatric lecture, tasty food, followed by catching up on celebrity gossip and random life events? Oh! Can’t forget our wonderful rooftop wellness events!
• Any advice for the incoming interns? Don’t be afraid to ask for help. None of us are expected to know everything—and the truth is, no one does. What matters is a willingness to learn and grow. Approach every challenge as an opportunity for growth, and every question as a chance to become better than you were the day before.

Thank you Dr. Li for presenting about e-bike safety for day of action!
Is your child ready for an e-bike? 🚲⚡ Before riding an e-bike, kids should have strong skills on a traditional pedal bicycle, follow traffic rules 🚦, wear a helmet every ride 🪖, and be able to handle increased speed and size safely.
Recommended guidance:
• Under 12 years: No e-bikes 🚫
• Ages 12–15: If ready, choose Class 1 only 🚲
• Ages 16+: Start with Class 1 👍
Always check local and state laws before riding.
