President Trump stood between two big rigs at the White House and said what every driver on the road already knows: this country does not move without truck drivers.

At a special event honoring the trucking industry, the President called drivers "brave, bold, and incredible," recognizing the men and women who keep essential goods flowing across America every single day.

Several drivers were invited to the podium to share their stories of delivering critical supplies, from medical equipment to everyday necessities.

Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy echoed the message, calling truckers "the backbone of our great country" and highlighting $275 million in truck parking projects.

The removal of speed limiter mandates, and new pilot programs giving drivers more flexibility with hours of service rules.

Whether you agree with the politics or not, the recognition hits home. Trucking moves over 70% of the nation's freight. Without the people behind the wheel, shelves go empty and supply chains stop.

The trucks may be beautiful. But the drivers are what make them matter.
