One of the greatest joys of my work is having a front row seat to the incredible things my clients accomplish.
Last week, I had the chance to attend the Atlanta book signing for my client, New York Times bestselling author Tia Williams, and celebrate the release of "The Missed Connection," her newest novel.
I've read every one of Tia's books, and every time she releases a new one, I can't wait to dive in. She's one of those rare authors who makes you feel like you're getting to know her a little better with every story she tells. Her characters stay with you long after you've turned the last page.
Seeing her connect with readers, celebrate another milestone, and enjoy the success she's worked so hard to achieve was incredibly special.
Congratulations, Tia! It is a privilege to cheer you on, and I can't wait to see where your next story takes you.
If you're looking for your next great read, I highly recommend adding one of Tia's novels to your list. Learn more about Tia and her books at tiawilliamswrites.com.

One-size-fits-most works fine for some things. Your retirement strategy probably isn't one of them.
One thing I often see in 401(k)s is the use of target-date funds. They're popular for a reason—they simplify a complex decision. But the underlying construction of those funds, including the glide path, international exposure, and assumed risk tolerance, may or may not reflect where you are today or how your 401(k) fits with the rest of your portfolio.
As balances grow, the default structure deserves a fresh look.
For plans that offer it, a Self-Directed Brokerage Account can provide additional flexibility inside the 401(k) without requiring a rollover or starting over. Most people I speak with have no idea it's available.
The question isn't whether something needs to change. It's whether your current approach still fits where you are today.
If it's been a few years since you've looked closely at your 401(k), this might be a good time to revisit it with fresh eyes. And if you'd like to talk through how your retirement accounts fit into your broader financial picture, I'm always happy to have that conversation.
Father’s Day can bring up many emotions.
For some, it’s a day of celebration. For others, it’s also a reminder of the fathers we miss and the legacies they left behind.
This Father’s Day, I’m especially grateful for the example my father set and the values he passed down- hard work, integrity, faith, and the importance of planning for the future. Even though he is no longer here, those lessons continue to guide me both personally and professionally.
I am also grateful to watch my husband lead and love our children with patience, strength, and intention. Fatherhood has such a powerful impact - not only on families, but on the legacy we leave behind for generations to come.
Today, we celebrate the fathers, grandfathers, mentors, and father figures who continue to show up, provide, protect, and lead with love.
From all of us at T. Sapp Financial Partners, Happy Father's Day!
