Horse portraits! Last weekend I drove around a bit looking for something interesting to photograph. I decided to stop by a horse farm I frequently drive by, Derby Talk Farm. It was nice to see these animals up close!

During yesterday mornings sunrise I used my phone in addition to my camera. I hadn't had time to go through my camera pics until today, and the camera definitely captures exactly what I saw. I don't normally take photos in the near dark, but now I know why they call this "blue hour".

"What are YOU looking at?" I was standing in the kitchen window while all of a sudden this beautiful owl came swooping down from the trees and landed right on the bird feeder post. She sat there and watched me while I took about 500 photos lol. So cool.

This big boy showed up to the feeders today! Love seeing a Pileated Woodpecker up close.
