Behold Birth

Leaving this here so you all can find another activity for the next month and half 🗓️. No making babies in July or August if you want me there as your midwife. Other activities include coloring. Plants. Baking. Sleeping.

We’re the hands that usher in life. The ones who awake at all hours of the night. The ones who cry with you, hold you, celebrate you, breathe with you.

But….we are also human.
Tired.
Tender.
Trying to balance our own lives while holding yours.

We are honored to be a part of this sacred work but we must also humanize the work that we do so that we can continue doing it! My journey is not universal but I hope to share a little behind the scenes. I am so grateful for clients who love and respect my humanity 💗

Abby is a wonderful addition to Behold. She’s our newest apprentice doula and already booking up quickly! One of my favorite parts of being in the birth community here is meeting others with similar passions. She’s a delight and I hope you get to meet her soon ☀️

✨Birth workers are some of the best people to have in your court. I am so grateful for the love, compassion, advocacy, and sleepless nights that these doulas give to our clients. I am equally grateful for their friendship to me and to each other. There are still a few babies left to come earth side in 2022 but we are glad they all waited so we could slip away for our annual Christmas dinner celebration 🍾
