The ODYSSEY Media Group and iliad literary-art magazine are gearing up to host their annual Editor’s Retreat and Summer Workshop from July 19-23. Over the next week, the OMG and iliad’s Editorial Boards, Production staff, and Journalism I students will learn the fundamentals of OMG work, strengthen bonds and engage in team-building exercises that will become the basis for the coming school year. “We’re really excited to kick off the year and can’t wait to see everyone,” OMG Editor-in-Chief Lea D’Angelo said. First Sergeant Donald Hollman, Clarke Central High School’s JROTC Drill Team instructor, stands at the 9/11 remembrance ceremony on Sept. 11, 2018. Hollman, whose tenure at CCHS began during the 2016-17 school year, announced his retirement from the CCHS faculty on June 25. “Army JROTC is not about recruiting students into the military.
