Job Opportunity related to Autism in Athens:

A family in Athens is looking for an undergraduate female student to work with a 15-year-old boy with autism and epilepsy. He is nonverbal but communicates with an iPad. You would learn how to facilitate some therapy (training included), watch their son, and help with some light housework.

Specifically, this semester, they are looking for someone who is available on Wednesdays at around 11:00-3:00 (time is flexible). Opportunities for more hours may also be available throughout the week. Hours and days are flexible and change every semester when your classes change. You can contact Stacey for more details directly by emailing [email protected]. You can also contact me, Naomi Levison, at [email protected] if you have any questions.

Also, they have cats, so they are looking for someone who is not allergic.
