I am finishing up the variants for the Widespread Panic Richmond, Va prints this weekend and plan to open the sale on Monday 10/6 at 12 Noon.

The sale will be limited to one poster per variant, but you are welcome to collect all three. I will also have sale prices on the remaining Huntsville ’23 and Chicago ’21 prints with no purchase restrictions.

The sale will be hosted on our Big Cartel website:

Until the prints are finished, trimmed, and inspected I am hesitant to confirm the edition size, but I am conservatively planning for 50 of the Artist Edition, 25 of the Stardream, and 25 of the Moon Lava Foil.

• Artist Edition is basically the same as the Show Edition, however I pushed the transparency of the inks to create more contrast with the grey underprinting in the shadow tones.
It is a subtle difference but more accurate to my intended vision. These are printed on a Natural toned 100 # Cover Weight Stock

• Stardream Edition is the same print setup as the AE, but with the addition of a clear gloss overprint to increase the saturation and contrast. I am also playing around with some pearlized pigments that may be incorporated into the clear, but need to experiment a little further before I commit to it. These are printed on the Stardream Citrine 105 # Cover which is a subtle metallic stock with iridescent and pearlized tones.

• Moon Lava Foil Edition – With previous prints the foils were always a bit of an afterthought and didn’t really shown off the unique qualities of the stock. On this project I tried to better incorporate more page white into the composition while developing the design. I am very pleased with the results from the SE foils, but wanted to push my variant a little further. This required creating alternate screens for 4 of the 6 colors to allow more of the foil to shine through. This was a significant effort, but I think it will be worth it in the end.

I am happy to release my newest poster for Widespread Panic’s two night run in Richmond Virginia. The design is a reimagining of the Seal of Virginia which depicts the Roman goddess Virtus standing triumphantly over a defeated king. The figures are surrounded by a wreath of Virginia Creeper vine and the background pays homage to some of Richmond’s most notable landmarks. As a Virginia native, I enjoyed researching the origin and history of the seal as I developed the design. The poster measures 13” x 24” and is a 6 color screen print on 100 # warm white cover stock. I will be releasing an artist edition in the upcoming weeks which will also include foil variants. Stay tuned for more information on the drop.
