Meet, Ahema! Maa Ahema Gaisie is a UGA Genetics Ph.D. student, hailing from the metro-ATL area. She’s also a lifelong storyteller, and doesn’t need Rabbit Box to talk your ear off with one. Outside of lab, she loves art, literature, and community engagement, serving as a member of the Executive Board of the Demosthenian Literary Society and the Graduate and Professional Scholars. Meet Robert! Dr. Robert Alan Black Alan has been creating or training others on how to increase their creative thinking abilities. Prior to working as an international speaker, he was a licensed architect, graphics designer, cartoonist, freelance writer, and a design professor. He now strives to daily create smiles. Meet Lilly! Lilly Garrett and her husband have been playing Pickleball and helping new people learn the game for about 10 years. They are also now leading a walking group twice a week that walk at different locations in the Athens and Oconee areas. Come see Lilly for our "First Job" Show on Tuesday, May 26th, 7pm at the VFW!

Meet Duke! Duke Geddis is a distinguished alumnus of the University of Pittsburgh where he studied industrial air pollution control. He served over 38 years in the Air Force as a weapons director and is a veteran of the Korean War. He belongs to this VFW. He is also retired from the Environmental Protection Agency as an atmospheric scientist. Following military and civilian service, for another 20 years he designed industrial air pollution control systems. He has published dozens of papers on air pollution, the Iraq war, female autonomy, climate change, school vouchers, and certain politicians.
