Today we swore in Jace Dennis as an honorary police officer and gave him a uniform and the authority to arrest his mom and SRO. Jace, a transplant survivor, told Magic Moments his wish is to be a police officer, so we made sure his wish came true.
He made us all applaud when he told the media he didn’t want to be a firefighter. He wants to be a police officer. Sorry Athens Fire and Rescue

We’re a little over a month away from our annual APD First Responders Softball Tournament! 🥎
This year’s event will support the APD Reserves and Athens Fire Department, and it’s always a great day of competition and supporting our first responders.
Please don’t wait and get your team signed up as soon as possible! And even if you can’t play please come on out to the Sportsplex on Saturday, August 8th, to cheer the teams on!
