Screened topsoil is an excellent choice for both the construction of new lawns and the restoration of established lawns. It can also be used as a topdressing, for building raised beds and for planting shrubs.

Did you know that good topsoil should be around 50 percent air space? However, ideally half of that air space should be filled with water. The topsoil should be crumbly and smooth to the touch, and dark and rich in appearance.

Although we deliver top-quality topsoil, it may not be the right pH for your gardening needs. Check your gardening manuals for the correct measurements then check your soil with a test strip. If the pH is off, amend the soil appropriately.

Did you know that introducing new top soil each year will give your lawn the time it needs to adapt and absorb the new topsoil? By doing this on an annual basis, you can expect to build up a good topsoil layer in three years or so.
