⚠️ A reminder from Koby’s Cleanup ⚠️
This week’s forecast isn’t just “summer weather.” We’re looking at several days with temperatures in the 90s, and even overnight temperatures will stay in the 70s.
Please don’t leave your pets outside for extended periods this week.
🐾 Make sure they always have fresh, cool water.
🐾 Give them access to shade or, even better, bring them inside.
🐾 Keep walks short and avoid the hottest part of the day.
🐾 Remember that asphalt and concrete can burn paw pads much faster than you might think.
Our pets rely on us to make good decisions for them. A few extra minutes of planning can prevent heat exhaustion or worse.
As always, Koby’s Cleanup will be monitoring conditions throughout the week. If temperatures become unsafe for outdoor work, we’ll communicate with customers and adjust schedules as needed. The safety of our team and your pets will always come first.
Please help spread the word. A simple share could help protect someone’s best friend. 💙💛🐶

🌡️ A quick note about extreme heat…
As we head into another stretch of dangerously hot weather, we wanted to let everyone know how we handle these conditions.
When extreme heat is in the forecast, we do our best to start as early as possible to work during the coolest part of the day. That helps us safely complete as much work as we can before temperatures become dangerous.
However, just like heavy rain, lightning, or severe winter weather, there are times when extreme heat simply isn’t safe to work in. If temperatures or the heat index reach dangerous levels, or local officials advise people to stay indoors, we may delay or reschedule service until conditions improve.
This isn’t about convenience. Heat related illness can happen quickly, especially when you’re outside doing physical labor for hours at a time.
If we ever need to adjust our schedule because of the weather, we’ll let affected customers know as soon as possible and get everyone taken care of once it’s safe to do so.
We appreciate your understanding. Our goal is to provide reliable service while making sure everyone, including us, gets home safely at the end of the day. ❤️
Stay cool, stay hydrated, and don’t underestimate the heat.

We were recently informed that another member of the Koby’s family has crossed the rainbow road, Hank “The Tank”. 😢
These bits of news are never easy, and our hearts go out to the family. Know that we’re thinking of you all.🫶
As for Hank… We will miss you buddy. All we can think of at the moment is to give you the tribute you deserve.
I close my eyes
Only for a moment and the moment's gone
All my dreams
Pass before my eyes with curiosity
Dust in the wind
All they are is dust in the wind
You’re my boy Blue.
Rest easy. ❤️

🐾 Flea & Tick Treatments Are Here! 🐾
We’ve officially added Wondercide Flea & Tick Treatments as an add-on to our recurring yard cleanup service!
These treatments focus on the areas where fleas and ticks are most likely to hide and where your pets spend the most time, including fence lines, around the home’s foundation, walkways, and other problem areas around the yard.
If you’re already a Koby’s Cleanup customer, adding treatments to your regular service is easy. Just send us a message and we’ll get you added to the schedule.
Not a current customer but have been thinking about signing up? We do have a few recurring service spots available right now, but they are extremely limited based on location and route availability.

Normally we’d show you a video of Chet. Today, we need you to hear what we have to say.
We’ve already shared a video of Chet on our page, but today we wanted to tell you about the side of Chet that the camera didn’t quite capture.
We’ve spent time with Chet more than once now, and the more time we spend with him, the harder it is to understand why he’s still at the APL. Sure, he loves tug of war. He loves chasing a ball. He has plenty of energy. But that’s not what stuck with us today.
What stuck with us was how badly this dog just wants to be with someone. Between throws, he’d come check in. Between pictures, he’d come lean against us. The second we sat down, he wanted to be right there beside us. It wasn’t about the ball or the toy. It was about being together.
The hard part is that he gets excited when people come to visit, but he knows he’s not going home with them. Today, when it was time for us to leave, it felt like he was asking for just one more minute. The truth is, one more minute isn’t what Chet needs.
He needs forever.
If you’re thinking about getting a dog, go spend 30 minutes with this guy. Seriously. Don’t take our word for it. Go throw the ball. Play tug of war. Then sit with him for a while. We have a feeling you’ll feel it too.
And if you’re not in a position to adopt, a share might help this post reach the person who’s been looking for a dog exactly like Chet.
Let’s get this boy home. ❤️🐾

We hear it all the time.
“Nobody helps anymore.”
“People only care about themselves.”
“Everything is a scam.”
“There’s always a catch.”
Honestly, we understand why people feel that way.
A lot of trust has been lost over the years.
That’s exactly why Neighbor to Neighbor exists.
Not to be another organization.
Not to ask for endless donations.
Not to put anyone on display.
Not to turn kindness into a marketing campaign.
Just neighbors helping neighbors.
Quietly.
Because despite what social media, the news, and the world sometimes tell us, we still see good people every day.
We see people helping family.
Helping friends.
Helping complete strangers.
The problem isn’t that kindness disappeared.
The problem is that trust did.
Neighbor to Neighbor is our small attempt to rebuild a little of that trust, one neighbor at a time.
No spotlight.
No pressure.
No recognition.
Just people helping people.
Because kindness really does start next door. 🫶
