Ashland NH Operation Santa Program

Last night Operation Santa gave out warm clothing, and Christmas gifts to 52 Ashland kids from 28 families! Children were provided with jackets, snowpants, boots, outfits, and toys! This doesn’t happen without our very generous donors! Whether you give funds, or pick up a tag and shop it means so much to these families and we can not thank you enough for helping us help them!! Thank you! Merry Christmas!!

What does 72 winter coats look like?? So many colors and variety’s!! Thank you Operation Warm!!! We got boys and girls coats in 5/6, 7/8, and 10/12. This will be so helpful to the kids in Ashland who are part of our program!!!

About 2 years ago - I had applied to Subaru Operation Warm, which provides coats and sneakers to organizations that help children with warm clothing. Today I found out we will be receiving 72 jackets from their partner services! This will go a long way to helping keep kids warm, but will also allow us to give out winter gear at signups instead of waiting until closer to Christmas!

Should you come across a good deal on snowpants, and jackets (especially for older kids) and are willing to donate we would be so appreciative!

On Thursday the Operation Santa items were given out to families! We started this year unsure how we would have enough funds to make it a successful year! Due to very generous donors in our community, we received plenty of funds, and large majority of the items on these kids wishlists! We can’t thank you enough for helping to keep kids warm and fulfilling their Christmas wishes!

It is donors like this, that make all the hours spent organizing, shopping, and putting together this program worth it.
This year in particular our funds were very low and we weren’t sure how we would make it work! Many businesses have stepped up to help! I can’t thank you all enough for all that you have done to ensure we are able to continue this program the same way it has been done for many years!
