Attending Fall in the field is a great way to work with scientific tools that students may have never used before. Here we are teaching a soil sampling lesson where students learn about the different types of soil, what components make up soil, and how to find the amount of nitrogen and phosphorous within the soil!
This engaging lesson led to some new discoveries about how soil affects us as people and why we should care about our dirt being healthy!
