Blue Ridge Pride, in collaboration with at least 8 other local q***r-led/serving organizations, is convening a new (and its first) monthly Advocacy Committee meeting to plan out efforts to defend and uplift our community in political and related arenas. One of our efforts will be to keep our community more informed of what is happening and how we can advocate, individually and together. If you are interested in receiving Advocacy Alerts from us, either via email or text, please sign up at the link in comments, or scan the QR code here.

We believe it is important to be a source of information for our region on legislation and potential actions relevant to the WNC q***r community. As we do not have dedicated advocacy staff, and as many local orgs are engaged in some excellent community organizing, we expect many alerts to pass through from other q***r-led/affirming organizations.

We promise not to spam you, but/and, a lot needs response right now.

Super jazzed to announce a new collaboration with ***rprofessionals in supporting LGBTQIA+ businesses and professionals.

Join us for a vibrant evening of q***r business networking at the stunning rooftop bar of the The Radical Connect with like-minded professionals, forge new friendships, and discover more about the Blue Ridge Pride Business Alliance and their transformative Welcoming Spaces program.

The Welcoming Spaces curriculum provides a rich tapestry of learning opportunities for organizations, businesses, individuals, and community groups. Through engaging discussions, interactive exercises, and insightful interviews, this program deepens understanding of the LGBTQIA+ community. Our hope is that these offerings inspire q***r, allied and soon-to-be allied people to recognize the profound humanity and diversity within the LGBTQIA+ community. Together, we can shape policies, laws, and practices that go beyond mere tolerance, creating spaces where everyone truly belongs.

Come for the networking, stay for the connection, and leave with a sense of purpose.
