YTL Training Program

Which group do you think had a more engaging group discussion? K-2 or 3-5?
Regardless, they both made a step in the right direction toward some of our key 21st CCLC objectives. The qualitative outcomes below motivate us to pour into them daily:
1) How do you feel about coming to YTL? “Happy”
2) Check all activities you enjoy doing at YTL: ✅ Organized sports games, ✅ STEM activities, ✅ arts and crafts/creative projects, ✅ reading books or story time, ✅ free time/playing with friends, and more‼️
2026 is flying already, so it’s only right we lock in on providing higher quality programming to our scholars day over day. Over here, we’ve seen Youth Transformed for Life (YTL) ❤️🔥. Thanks in part to 21st CCLC and NC DPI, we get to keep building this momentum.

Check out some of the YTL family after a day of mindfulness, academics, and enrichment made possible by our grantor 21st CCLC‼️ Thanks to them, we’re able to continue working toward key goals and objectives like:
• 70% will maintain/increase reading proficiency
• 60% will maintain/increase math proficiency
The scholars you see in the pic did “Rose, bud, and thorn” mindfulness, alphabet pronunciation practice, and learned about a food nutrition chart today. Shoutout to NC DPI and 21st CCLC for sowing into our mission!

This year, our posting activity has been relatively sparse, but we want to express our heartfelt appreciation to all of our scholars and their families. Here’s a snapshot from our holiday pajama party. We would like to thank all the families who participated in the festivities, which included a delicious meal, gingerbread house construction, and other family-friendly activities, as well as the chance to bond with other families and savor the outstanding hot chocolate from Rayburn’s Farm.
