A Celebration of Pride Month

Esther 3:1-11, 4:1-17

A Sanctified Art created a Special Sunday for Worship during Pride Month. They write “Pride Sunday is a celebration of the image of God in everyone and the diversity of humanity. In the beginning, when God breathed the breath of life in us, God blessed us and called us very good. There is no better way to celebrate the fact that we were created in the image of the Divine than by being unapologetically ourselves and becoming the people God called us to be: authentic, whole, complex, and made to love, even when others say, ‘they have gone out of their mind’ (Mark 3:21).” We invite you to join us this Sunday, June 14, as we celebrate Pride month with a special worship service together.

We hope to see you there!

We hope you will join us for a time of gathering, discussion, and sharing a meal together this Sunday, June 7! We will talk about our experiences of gathering together, sharing meals, and being in community with each other. Through scripture and guided prompts, we will be reminded of the Spirit’s movement in our lives and talk a little about where we are headed.

Don’t forget to bring a side dish to share, especially if you’ve signed up to bring one. And a big thank you to Mandel for smoking hot dogs!

We hope you will join us!

You are warmly invited to join us this Sunday for a special Earth Day service that welcomes all. Together, we will share in scripture, song, prayer, and reflection as we explore how each of us can embody the goodness in which we were created and care for the Earth as stewards of God's very good creation.

We hope to see you Sunday!

Risen Christ, the Easter story is a reminder that nothing could contain you—no tomb, no body, no violent act. You are alive in the world, unfettered and beckoning us to follow. Lead me to the places you have called me to be. Show me where you’re headed. I want to be there, too. Amen.
