Deciding on a new direction for Basedboy Racing was one of the hardest journeys I had to do. I opened in 2018, in my parents garage, with no support but from my family. I basically killed myself to achieve my dream that I wanted so bad. Covid threw a wrench in my plans for my business and future. There was just no way I could imagine closing a business that I have poured everything into for 4 years. It was my dream, and not only my sacrifice, but the sacrifices of those who I love most. I had opened an additional business during covid in and it’s amazing to say the least. Not only did it open more doors for me in business, and a life that I can ever imagine, it really illuminated a path for me to move forward. I have grown in a way I never really expected and I’m super excited for the future. With that being said, Basedboy Racing has changed to my own personal project. Something I will grow and continue to grow at my own pace. This will no longer be a public shop.. at least for now. Although I will still be taking projects that I want to design and work on, it will be where I express myself through my form of art. Whether that’s car design and restoration, clothing design, or photography, the sky is the limit. I’m deciding not to limit myself to one thing and instead create an atmosphere where I can just work. My love for automobiles had never been greater and I’m excited to see where this new journey is going to take me.
