At just 21 years old, was diagnosed with a brain tumor. What followed wasn’t just survival—it was a calling.
Thirty years later, he stands as a force, in the AYA (adolescent & young adult) cancer movement, reshaping how we see, support, and advocate for patients who are too often overlooked.
Through founding , and this week, We The Patients, his first book, he continues to challenge systems, elevate voices, and remind us that survivorship is not the end of the story—it’s where the real work begins.
