Buyers will need to get creative, whether that’s using rate buydowns, expanding their search to different neighborhoods or property types, or working with lenders who know how to structure loans to maximize buying power.
For sellers, pricing correctly from the start is critical. Presentation and pre-listing prep matter more than ever, and being open to negotiating terms that help with affordability can make all the difference. Condition is playing a major role in what properties go under contract and what properties sit on market.
