I’ve been busy getting galleries out, and the burnout is so real! But I get to work on sessions like this one that have me completely obsessed. Sneak peek from Olivia’s senior session.

We were blessed with everything I could dream of for an evening shoot: golden autumn light, warm calm air, and the most stunning purple sky with a glowing moon rising at the end. Olivia was radiant in every single frame, moving with this gentle, effortless confidence that made the whole evening feel soft, dreamy, and cinematic.

I’m so close to wrapping up my season, and my heart is already excited for all the beautiful faces I’ll get to photograph next year.

This session was such a beautiful blend of love, family, and heritage.

I loved that Veronica wanted to celebrate this moment not only with her fiancé but also by including her parents which made it even more meaningful. We did a hybrid session where my clients chose to honor their Hmong heritage by wearing traditional outfits. Being Hmong myself, it means so much when I get to photograph our beautiful culture. I love the vibrant colors, intricate details, and the deep sense of pride our cultural clothing carries.

We then ended the evening under the dreamiest blue hour skies, with soft color tones that made the perfect ending to such a heartfelt session.

I love sessions like these that remind me why I love what I do capturing connection, legacy, and the beauty of where we come from all in one frame.
