With over 60,000 students and counting, we are increasing our impact on the next generation of coders each year! in 2025, we reached over 14,000 students, with a focus on girls and other underrepresented youth in the DMV (District of Columbia, Maryland, and Virginia).

We started our journey teaching in 2014 with 49 girls in one elementary school in Arlington. We have now reached over 60,000 girls and underrepresented youth throughout the DMV through Camps, Clubhouses, micro:bit for All, and our other programs.

To be successful in AI and other future-looking technologies, you need fundamental skills. Just like you can't become a lawyer or doctor if you can't read, you can't be an AI creator without knowing how to code. To build a future where AI is safe and accessible for everyone, we need more AI creators.

We offer four camps that will help children learn these fundamentals while also introducing them to the world of AI, developing skills in AI creation, and understanding its social and ethical impacts. Our newest advanced AI camp, Creating & Using AI, is ideal for students who have taken an intro Python class either with Boolean Girl or in school and are eager to go further by writing Python code to create AI applications.
