I'm terribly saddened to learn of the passing of the incomparable Dolores Keane. Her version of "Caledonia" featured on "A Woman's Heart" remains, in my opinion, the song's definitive recording (with apologies to author Dougie MacLean).

Her struggles with depression and alcoholism became a bit of a punchline 25 years ago, but she was so much more than that. The world is a little quieter today. She will be missed.
