We're excited to share that DLS has launched a new learning management system! Built around a modern, intuitive experience, the new LMS offers easy progress tracking and community spaces where learners can connect and collaborate with instructors throughout their language journey.

At DLS, we are continually working to enhance the learning experience we provide. This launch is the latest step in that ongoing commitment to our students and the language goals they're working toward.

The 3rd Annual DLS 5k & 1-Mile for Lewy Body Dementia is set for Saturday, August 22, 2026, at Bon Air Park & Rose Gardens in Arlington, VA.

Lewy body dementia is a progressive brain disorder many people have never heard of, despite being the second most common type of dementia after Alzheimer's. Proceeds from the race benefit the Lewy Body Dementia Association.

The 5k and 1-mile start at 9:10 AM, with a kids' dash (~300 meters) at 9:00 AM. Courses are out-and-back and mostly flat along the W&OD Trail. Plus, no pace requirements! Walk, jog, run, spectate, or volunteer. Everyone is welcome.
