Every house has that one space. It functions, but never quite belongs.
For our Classic Charm, Reimagined clients, it was the basement. After designing their kitchen, scullery, and mudroom, they loved the cohesion upstairs and wanted the same intention carried down.
Once a mix of old furniture, toys, and a disconnected layout, the basement is now being redesigned with purpose. We’re extending the scullery’s green palette to create a visual thread, softening soffits with color capping, and adding trim and picture molding for structure. A new bar, built-ins with grasscloth backing, under-stair storage, and LVP flooring complete the space. It is playful for kids and elevated for adults. Renderings coming soon!

A few exciting updates from our East Coast West Coast project 🤍
While the kitchen was already in place, we added custom counter stools as a natural extension of the living room, embracing layers of decorative motifs, painterly florals, and a bold color story of greens, blues, and magentas. Upholstered in custom performance fabrics that are both soft to the touch and highly durable, they create a focal point while adding personality and remaining family-friendly.
