Location: Scott AFB, IL
Work Schedule: 100% onsite
Clearance: Active Secret security clearance
Certification: Security+ CE
Salary: W2 $70,000 - $75,000; 1099 $45/hr

Qualifications:

High school diploma and 1-3 years of experience.
DoD-8570 IAT Level 2 baseline certification (Security+ CE, or equivalent).
Ability to work 24/7.
Experience in alarm surveillance, fault management, LAN maintenance, or performance management.
Expertise in routers, switches, crypto devices, routing, DSN/DRSN, Video Services, Promina, CISCO, Juniper, MSPP, DWDM, Optical Switching.
Understanding of network topologies (transport and IP).
Active Secret security clearance, with the ability to obtain and maintain Top-Secret clearance.

Hiring: Windows server environments and security operations. 💻

Primary Responsibilities:

- Create, maintain, and implement detailed documentation for standard systems operating procedures.
- Develop and monitor policies for computing resource allocation.
- Recommend cost-effective hardware and software solutions.
- Supervise and mentor lower-level technical staff.
- Ensure seamless operation of multi-user computer systems in collaboration with network administrators.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience with DISA and its support to mission partners.
- Expertise in Network and Element Management systems.
- Knowledge of Ethernet switches, SAN/NAS, and networking principles (TCP/IP).
- Thorough understanding of networking principles including TCP/IP.
- Experience with ticketing systems such as BMC Remedy.
- ITIL v3 Foundation, with a bonus for Linux and Solaris OS experience.
- Familiarity with virtual environments
- Salary: W2 $130,000 - $135,000; 1099 $82/hr
- Clearance - Top Secret/SCI
- Onsite - Second Shift ONLY (12 pm - 8 pm)
