One of the easiest ways to spot a leadership problem is by listening to how people are being managed.

Are leaders spending most of their time fixing weaknesses?

Or are they putting people in positions where their strengths can actually be used?

Every person has things they naturally do well.

Good leaders know what those are and build around them.

Before assuming someone is the wrong person, ask a different question:

Are they in the right seat, and do they have access to the tools and resources they need to succeed?

This week, identify one person on your team who isn't performing at the level you expected. Before coaching them, ask whether the role actually matches their strengths.
