Make Space For Magic

I went back in my IG story archives to see if I could find out exactly when I started doing dot mandalas, and I found the first thing I ever paint in July 2021! I remember I had been so sick but I was tired of just laying in bed so I got up long enough to do a little tutorial by Thoughtful Dots on this rock before going right back to sleep 🥺

Over the next week or so I’m gonna be posting little glimpses into my mandala-making timeline, because I actually ended up doing a super deep dive into my journey and it was so wild to be able to reflect on how important creating has become to me🥰

I got a cute little flower lamp for my art desk and it showcases the mandalas pretty nicely I’d say 🧐🥰
(This mandala will be for sale, I just have to varnish it and get it photographed)

Aw, Yay! The name change worked- this page is now called
“Make Space For Magic”, which is a mantra I’ve had in my head for the past 8.75 years🤓

It’s a place for me to post my art and express myself creatively in whatever way I feel guided to, getting curious about exploring different mediums and methods of things as often as possible- big steps or tiny ones.
It’s an experiment in BEING.
Being present, being open, being an alchemist. 🧚🏼‍♀️✨

I haven’t been on Facebook consistently in a couple years, but I feel strongly that the world is gonna need more reasons to smile now more than ever, alas I must create- it’s our duty as humans.
I’ll probably make one big post of my favorite mandalas that I’ve painted to kind of catch this page up to speed, and from there I’ll keep this page updated with my art like I do my instagram and other socials- I’m looking forward to getting to connect with the people who only stay on FB 🤗
