Today is my birthday.

I will be spending it the same way I spend most days — answering calls, working files, and making sure people get to closing.

Which honestly is not a bad way to spend a birthday.

Thank you to everyone who has trusted me this year. The referrals, the phone calls, the clients who became friends. It means more than you know.

Now if someone could send breakfast tacos that would be great.

Happy Independence Day.

Grateful for this country. Grateful for the freedom to build something of our own. Grateful for every family we've helped put a roof over their heads this year.

Homeownership is one of the most American things there is. The idea that you can work hard, plant roots, and own a piece of something that's yours.

Good things are happening.

Families are getting keys. Buyers who called me not sure if it was possible found out it was. First-time buyers. Move-up buyers. People planting roots in DFW and building something real.

That energy going into July 4th weekend is exactly what this work is about.
