Chinese new year is upon us. The Year of the Rat actually begins Feb. 4th while the new year celebration was on Jan. 25th. This symbolizes a year of new beginnings as we restart the Chinese zodiac cycle. Now is the time to come in for a check up to start this new cycle off in the right direction. Equilibrium Health had a great time at the MS Walk in South Asheville Yesterday. I had a blast representing Chinese medicine, acupuncture, and supportive/complimentary options in health care. It was a beautiful day to be outside. Thanks to all who came out in support of the MS community.

Acupuncturists have always supported the limited use, or even no use, of ice on injured areas. Our contention is that it slowed down healing and prevented the body from adequately repairing the injured area.
